The person behind Snap the North

Hi, I’m Dimitri.

I live on the border between Sweden and Finland and I take travelers to discover Northern Europe: Lapland, the Lofoten Islands and the North Cape.

Here is how I work and why I build journeys this way.

01 · My perspective

Two points of view, one journey

I know travel from both sides: that of the person who sells it and that of the person who accompanies it on the ground. That is why I know what a catalogue promises and what it really takes to deliver it.

I know what happens after the sale, and that changes how I build the journey beforehand.

02 · The destination

The North I know from the inside

Lapland, the Lofoten Islands and the North Cape are not catalogue destinations to me. I know them on the ground, together with the people who work there every day, and that is how I decide what to offer and what to leave out.

I will also tell you when not to go and what is not worth your money.

03 · The method

A journey built for you, not a package

Snap the North is a Destination Management Company specializing in Lapland, the Lofoten Islands and the North Cape. We work directly with tour operators and travel agencies to create journeys that genuinely reflect what travelers are looking for.

You speak to the same person from the first email to your return, with no handovers.

Travelers are not looking for pre-packaged itineraries: they are looking for authentic experiences created by someone who truly knows the destination.

How we work

Partners we know

People we trust, with whom we have already shared hundreds of travel stories. Not names on a price list.

For agencies and tour operators

We are not a booking platform or a deal aggregator: we work directly with you.

It starts with listening

Our first question is never “which package are you interested in?”, but what you truly want to experience.

What do you truly want to experience?
